SORRY!

Yep, that's right, i am sorry. I have being soooo slack! ha. But you get
that...

So since i last posted a lot has happened, but you dont need to know it
all because most of it i cant even remember... hmmm so ill try my best
:D

Well the biggest thing was CONFERENCE! it was SO amazing. Hope all that
went are praying everyday for an increase of Widsom, Stature and Favour
because the Lord is good! wooo But also the two best things about
conference were working in PlanetKids and getting closer with my amazing
BOOM Urban Life! i do indeed love all my UL. they are all amazing young
people who have such huge hearts for God and realising the love of God
isnt just BRILLIANT! but also it is SUPERNATURAL! How amazing, i love
how we serve a supernatural God! He is so amazing and yet so powerful!
:D But Planetshakers Conference "Twentyten" was insane! TD Jakes... what
more can i say. :)

After conference I went back to my home land TASMANIA!!!!!!! where i got
to surprise soooo many people it was amazing! so much fun :D I forgot
what it was like to see mountains and stars!!!! Wow how I have missed
those stars. Ha. But it was probably the BEST Week to go down because on
the friday night Door Of Hope had their friday night service which went
off! You guys seriously need to get there if you can! Details are on the
website www.door-of-hope.org do it!!! Door Of Hope are starting
something brilliant! So glad to call it my home church! :D

Then it was sad times and time to come home... but it was amazing
because I left excited about coming back here and seeing what God was
going to do this term and MATE! He hit me so hard only within the first
week!! It is amazing, he can really do the impossible! :) I LOVE him...
ok then sorry, probably freaking some of you out but I feel the more I
show it the more you will sink into the reality of how great he actually
is and how he can turn things around so dramatically!

May I encourage you to write down your strengths and things you like
about your self... ha! Its hard isn't it... I bet you could go on and on
your weaknesses and what you don't like about yourself. But when you
actually do that tell me about it I want to know how you go. :) all I
can say is that there is freedom in his name. No bondage, nothing is
ever held against you just full on, pure, amazing freedom! :)

These people i love dearly. and by dearly i mean A LOT, MASSIVELY!! I just loved how I just had to look at this picture and laugh a heck of a lot. wow i do indeed love them a lot. It is amazing how just a picture can bring happy memories and its only a snap shot of what you have done of your life...

I like looking at it like this. Here is a photo of such an amazing and great memory and yet there is so much in that picture! Looking at this picture I'm sure every single person there has something to say about the day and how amazing it was. But now look at Us. We are just like a picture and there is so much about us that others can tell you about.. well you! and you have so much to tell about yourself to others and even yourself. But now look at it from God's perspective. It says in the bible we are the size of a piece of dust to him and yet he has more thoughts about us there there is grains of sand on this earth! He thinks about us so much!!! even more than we can think about that picture. about the memories and everything that had followed on from that day. =]

I just really do enjoy thinking about that a lot. It makes me feel safe, that i will always be thought of more than the little specks of sand on this planet and all those thoughts are positive and not negative. =] He is so good!

... So im sorry for everyone i may of freak out by writing this Blog, but it was on my heart. When was the last time you said something that was on your heart to others... or maybe even when was the last time you didn't? Hmmm

Hope everyone is well since my last blog, which was a while ago! Sorry about that, quite busy that it all. =] I FINALLY hung out with Kelly last saturday, watched her dance and of course she was amazing. I also got to see the fabulous Georgia Wyllie also! she is a funny one. =] Such an amazing girl!

Alright well i shall go, got discipleship tonight for BOOM, I'm sick, but I don't care! I am going to be there! This friday is going to amazing! :D

The past three days....

The past three days have been SOOOO amazing, i thought i may as well tell you all about it, who ever is interested!

Thursday:
So. Thursday is a pretty big day, you would know this if you looked at my previous post. Grace, a lovely mid-year, asked us to meet early for prayer and it was just amazing. so much was thrown off in that prayer meeting and we were ready for chapel. Ps. Sam spoke and she was brilliant as always but no, this meeting was just what i think everyone needed to hear. such a spirit filled chapel changed a lot of people and helped a lot of people also! Thank you Ps. Sam! =]
Then a few of us went around the corner to a bakery for lunch who didn't do a bad job at its coffee. very enjoyable. then said goodbye to the interns and off the students went to their classes! So the rest of the day was pretty average went till 9 and then sleep time!

Friday:
BOOM! woo wow. it was such an amazing and powerful night. If only you were all there to wittness it. All the youth were into it. they were all there to praise and worship! people were healed! It was very very good!
Just would like to say Sam, Nick and Hayleigh are probably the best! they are so great to work with! Thank you for being amazing people! ha. So... that was my friday!

Saturday:
PAUL'S BIRTHDAY!!! WOOOOO i cannot believe he is 33. He is out having a bit of a party at the moment. hense why i am using his computer :P but he had a good day, it rained on his birthday, HUGE hail storm... where as last year, remember that earthquake in Melbourne?? yeah that was on his birthday also! HA pattern much!? kind of freaky. But i got some AWESOME pictures of the storm. I'll post them up here it was insane! Yeah, so as i was saying, he had a good day. he was stuck at the south melbourne market for a while which was funny. but he didnt complain which is the main thing. The power also went out for like 3 hours. this wasnt fun! and i couldnt read because it was too dark. and my lap top power went out. it was sad. anyway then we went out for tea for pauls birthday with the rest of the family and had a great night. Olive is SUCH a cutie, just thought it might say that. And now i am here writing this.

So they have been my 3 past days. they dont seem to amazing in writing i guess they all were had to be there moments. but this happens. Right now also my Dance Teacher from down tassie is having her 50th birthday party! its so sad that i am not there. but i know you would be having an amazing time Maryann! You're amazing and i miss you a lot. Mum sent me a message of Kelly (BFF!!!) and Luke (my bro) to make me even more upset i wasnt there for it! but it happens. I miss home a lot. Nick Yates knows this. he heard me talk about it all yesterday. Thanks for listening buddy! You're a mate! HA! anyway i may go and leave... i'll put up some pics for you all also!

That was only SOME of the hail that came... it was about an hour and a half after the storm and it was still there, probably still is actually! HA.

So Far in 2010!!!!

Hey there my fellow bloggers!
My year has so far and will contain laughter, stress, hype, old and new friends,
love, reading, thoughts, questions and answers.
I'm currently living in Melbourne, and doing an Internship/Certificate 4 in
Contemporary Leadership at Planetshakers College. This also includes a ministry
of choice which I feel to be called to which is Youth.
This Blog used to just be about me, but for now this blog is for
all my family and friends back in Tassie and also here here in Melbourne. So they
can read the experiences I am having on this very exciting journey.

So, what to tell you already...
My first day at shakers was quite bazaar! I don't think i really felt like I was there, it was interesting. The first person I met was Shenaea, it was funny because I thought she was already an intern so i didn't know how to act around her, but she totally wasn't and this made things a whole lot easier. we also found out that we were both doing Boom together which was even more exciting. (boom is their youth name) Then we basically all had to break the ice and introduce ourselves to the rest of the amazing class and learn about just some key things about what the year will be about and what was in store for us.
We then went and had Lunch goodness knows where now, it was 5 weeks ago!!! anyway that was nice and during this i got to meet more people, William who is Chinese and a very funny man! Frankie, which has gone through my head where he is from but he is great! Jeffin who is Indian and is sooooooooooooo funny and quiet, Jo (who lives with Jeff) he is also Indian and is also very funny. (everyone is FUNNY!) also Gabby! she is soooo amazing, i love her already, she is from Mildura along with Tim who is only 16!!! but flippin acts like he is 20! haha, he reminds me of you Sam Fair if you're reading this, yep you two would be best friends if you met each other.
After lunch it was back to the offices for the college students then home time. So THAT was my first day at shakers.

As the days went on i met everyone else and now we are such an amazing family of interns and college students. We have already had a picnic altogether, tried organising trips to places! and made many trips to maccars on our thursday dinner breaks! Basically we just all get along with each other, love each other and would do anything for each other!

The boom interns I have the privilege to work with are Shenaea, Nick, Ben, Tom, Felicia, Lisa and Sam! The last three girls i mentioned (Fe, Lis and Sam) are Mid year interns so they have been there since July last year and if we did not have these girls we would die! So thank you so so much for everything you have done and are doing!

Ok so... My basic week is
Monday: 1pm-5:15pm with two lectures
Tuesday: Day off but I'm usually helping Belinda with Olive which is so much fun!
Wednesday: Day off also but at night we have Boom Urban Life (small groups) or Discipleship.
Thursday: 10am-9pm this long period of time there is Chapel in the morning which is always sooo amazing and the rest of the day there are 3 lectures. mind you we do get breaks!
Friday: This is my stream day, so this is where i work with youth. We pack our cars and go to the place we are doing Boom that night and set up for it then Boom starts and then once it has finished we pack down and go back to the offices and pack everything back. It is such a huge day but I love doing it because of the benefits and feelings that over whelm you when you see the youth of Melbourne come in and have such a great time!
Saturday: Day Off (i sleep for most of this day)
Sunday: CHURCH! wooo. for this I'm either setting it up or packing it down.

Melbourne Traffic: all i can say is watch out Launceston, My driving it going to be terrible! so many bad habbits! GAH but it will be ok! The only thing i still hate and i am scared of are Trams! just leave. alright!?

Home sickness: For all you people who i love back at home i am missing you all like CRAZY! i have had my days where i have been down in the dumps. bit they are decreasing, not because i'm missing you all less, thats soooo not true. But because this year is becoming more and more a reality and just knowing that God has put me where at such a time as this, well is an honor! The favor that is on Planetshakers City Church right now and what they are doing with it is unbelievable! Just witnessing it is basically a miracle before my eyes and i am just so blessed to be apart of it.

My Spirit: HAS GROWN ALREADY! wow, it is insane! God is revealing so much to me already it has sometimes just freaked me out!!! So i don't freak YOU out if you would like to know more about it just ask me and i will explain! (get ready)

Siblings: It has been SOOOOOOOOOO long since i have lived with my siblings, and now living with one, Paul it is so awesome. Living with my brother is fun, we always have chats about when He was growing up or when I was growing up etc etc, the things you hear and learn aye! So much i have missed out on being 11 years younger than one of my siblings (the others 14-16 years) is interesting. I'm sure there will be more conversations to be had, i also have these with Belinda and Darren. But I don't see them as much as Paulie. But I am loving it.

Well i guess thats all i will update you with for now. I'll be updating this frequently, so please come check each week and converse with me!!!! haha.
